BIOGRAPHY
It was in 1953 that Charles STRATOS was born in Avignon, in this FRANCE chosen by his grandfather, GREC of origin, a tailor.
From the age of I4 years he meets the art world in an architectural firm, discipline to which it is formed.
He will then take conscience of the aesthetics of the beautiful line and thus will develop in him the creative fiber that will never leave him.
Thus is born the form designer, assembler characters springing from his brush with this bright red, bright yellow, the blue and the black so deep that will identify all silhouettes- mother child, couples, musicians ….. all source of life, this life so precious to share, altruistic message of the artist who will give everything.
The route will lead to the sculptures, which will succeed the paintings come and stand in his world, monumental and smooth, metal and caressing, entangled silhouettes that skim, touch, musicians on cello that we listen that means and these nested couples entwined with their closely related head that suggest to us to dream, we listen to their silence.
STRATOS is that flies, like him loudly hand, we fly away with him in this magical world of childhood, like to take this time given by the artist to dive into this world of serene tranquility in the dream world of childhood that we must one day leave; may we keep it, make room in our hearts that is the miracle of STRATOS with its flamboyant world of colorful and starry sky with all its characters that we tend their hands and then these metal shades that rise to the clouds and we roll gently …. it emerges from all this as an exhilarating scent that will make us happy really happy.
